Torii Hunter Retirement Pop-up Dinner 2015
A fantastic honor on Wednesday to create and be the guest Chef for a once-in-a-lifetime “pop up” Vegas dinner for Major League Baseball Great Torii Hunter for his “retirement” dinner with MLB greats – Justin Verlander, David Price, Scott Erikson, Aarron Hicks and so many more.
Chef Grant prepared a pumpkin lemon grass soup with california pistachio pesto, 8 hour braised short rib with parsnips and almond green beans, Shallot crusted kingfish with eggplant caviar and bouilabaise emulsion, red snapper Ceviche with black olive tapenade crostini, warm Strawberry starburst with mint & strawberry sorbet. The Camus wine pairings were sublime.
